Dear All,

This is a kind REMINDER to all students who have not settled their fees or made instalment arrangements for their Semester 1 fees.

Student accounts that have not settled fees and/or have not made instalment payment arrangements for Semester 1 fees will have their accounts deactivated commencing Wednesday, 19 April 2023.

The affected students will not have access to Moodle or other facilities and cannot submit other assessment items online. Students’ accounts can only be re-activated after they pay all outstanding fees and/or make arrangements to pay by instalments. The entire fee balance must be covered either via payments or an installment payment agreement.

In the case you have submitted a payment arrangement or made payments which are not recorded against your student account, please send a copy of the form/remittance to student.finance@usp.ac.fj or your respective Campus finance team at the earliest. Our team will verify the payment/agreement details and update your student account.

Once a payment/arrangement is received after account deactivation, please allow 24 working to update payments, release holds and reactivate student accounts.

Deregistration - Students whose account remain deactivated till Tuesday 17 May, will be deregistered in the week of 22 May. This means their registration will be cancelled and they owe nothing to the University (i.e., it is as if they never were registered in the term). These students can be re-registered in the same term if they pay all outstanding fees within one month of deregistration. Such students will hereafter be required to pay all fees upfront when they next register for courses.

 

Installment Payment Deadline - The final date for installment payments is 31 May 2023.

After this date, accounts with fee balances will be placed on hold and the student will not be able to graduate, obtain results and re-enroll to a future term until all fees are cleared.

Students are encouraged to contact their respective Campus Finance teams and make payment arrangements where needed.
