Gene interaction, maternal and cytoplasmic inheritance. RNA and DNA structure and function, transcription, translation and gene expression in eukaryotes. Biotechnology and genetic engineering, quantitative and population genetics, processes of organic and biological evolution, speciation and classification, biological and cultural evolution in man.
