We build on the foundations established in PS203 and continue our journey of contemporary data science. We cover common frequentist strategies for generating inferences across categorical and continuous data. This includes factorial ANOVAs, OLS regressions, t-tests, and some Bayesian alternatives. We will apply the strategies discussed in class to real-world data sets on a regular basis. By the end of this course, you will know how to decide between test strategies, run assumption checks (for frequentist methods) and conduct your analyses on the R platform.
