Dear Students and Staff,
Semester 1 started on Monday, 4th February.
Most students should have access to their courses on Moodle by now. There are still some students who may not have access to all the courses they have registered for. The Moodle Team has received several course requests over the last few days. At the moment the Moodle Team is working on setting up Moodle course shells for these courses. Once this is done, students will start getting access.
Note to students
For students who are changing their course registrations by adding or dropping courses on Student SOLS, please allow up to 6 hours for your Moodle access to be updated.
Moodle access to your courses is synced at regular intervals, which happen at every 6 hours.
Check your Moodle profile details
Please take some time to check your account details on Moodle. Check that your name is displayed correctly, especially if you had your name changed/corrected by SAS. If you find any errors, please inform Moodle Help via the email: email@example.com.
Queries regarding Moodle
When you contact Moodle Help for any queries regarding Moodle, please remember to state your Student ID and the affected course(s) in your message. This will assist the Moodle Help team in finding a quick resolution to your query.
We also request students not to send multiple emails to the Moodle Help email address for the same query. This increases the numbers of issues the Moodle Help team needs to attend to and significantly affects our ability to provide a prompt response to student queries.
Note to Teaching Staff
Please ensure that you send in your Moodle course request if you still haven't done so. Contact your Moodle support staff at the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFL) should you need assistance in having your course ready for Semester 1.
The Centre for Flexible Learning is currently located at: ITS Lab 13, Level 3, ICT Centre Building A.
Moodle Help team is based at this location as well.
For Moodle related issues, students can reach us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
